My K9 reporter Leroy (on the left) has a brand-new gal pawl, a puppy named Ella who you’ll be hearing from very soon here on WWW.TJ.LA.  

In the meantime, it sure looks like the little pooch has a lot to bark about! What exactly do you think she’s saying to Leroy in this picture? Or what could Leroy be thinking? Think up a really great caption – I know you can do it!

The grand prize winner will receive a furrific poochie swag bag stuffed with totally rad dog toys and accessories!

How to Enter
It couldn’t be simpler, if you ask me! Just think up a really funny or cute caption for the picture of Leroy and Ella, and enter it as a comment farther down this page in the Leave a Reply box. You can enter more than one caption if you’ve got a whole bunch of good ones.

Hurry – the deadline is the stroke of midnight PST on Sunday, August 15.

How to Vote
Starting on August 17, look for the August Caption Contest album on my Facebook page. (You gotta friend me first to see the album – how cool is that?). Just click Like for your favorite caption, and the caption that gets the most “Likes” wins!

Voting ends at – you guessed it, the stroke of midnight PST – on Sunday, August 22. Grreat news: The deadline has been extended until the stroke of midnight on Tuesday, August 24!

Winner Winner Winner!
Since Leroy and Ella are both pound pups, they want to announce the contest winner on August 26, which happens to be National Dog Day. Among other real important things, this special day helps raise awareness of the number of pooches needing furever homes (a number that’s way too big). The lucky winner will be announced on both WWW.TJ.LA and Facebook, and notified via email.
