PJpupp: Our pack has been so busy lately that our typist has been too tired to post our blog for us.
Rickie Roo: Yeah, she’s been a bit naughty!
Gigi: In case you don’t know who we mean… it’s MOMMY!
Rickie Roo: We’ve done lots and lots of stuff since our last blog… and if you were wondering, I’m not stinky from the skunk anymore. But GIGI is! Hahahaha!
Gigi (Hangs her head and looks oh so sad): That’s not very nice of you to remind people, Rickie Roo.
PJpupp: We still love you Little G… even if you smell a bit. But since we have mommy typing, why don’t we tell everyone about all our exciting adventures? Roo-ster, I know you want to tell people about your exciting news.
Rickie Roo: I got my first MACH points!!! That’s AKC Master Agility Champion points! That means I’m on my way to being an agility champion just like PJ, Gigi, Magi and Perry. I got 31 of them at the Agility Club of Ventura show! Mommy was VERY excited and gave me extra yummy treats.
Gigi: We were very proud of you Rickie Roo! Now you only have to earn 719 more points AND earn 20 Double Q’s (that’s a Qualfying score in the highest level of both AKC classes Jumpers and Standard on the same day) to be a champion! Did you tell everyone about your fun photo shoot?
Rickie Roo: I got to model REAL DIAMONDS! With my cousin Amelia Bedelia, our friends Ivy, Monkey and Grace too! Mommy said my diamond collar from i Love Dogs Diamonds cost more than our house, so I had to behave myself, and I did! I got cookies. Lots of cookies! I am a doggie supermodel, and so are my friends!
PJpupp: What else did you get to do that involved a camera?
Rickie Roo: OH YEAH!! I got to be in another commercial! This one was for our pal TJ and his line of TJ’s Health Bites multivitamins. All of us got to be in it! Gigi’s in it way more than me though. The cameraman said I was so fast I was a blur. Gigi is in the commercial a LOT more than me.
PJpupp: Gigi is certainly very talented. Tell them what you did in the commercial Gi.
Gigi: I rode my skateboard, did some agility, played with my doggie gumball machine, and more.
PJpupp: Roo, you had one more encounter with a camera.
Rickie Roo: I did?
PJpupp: A special camera… at the veterinarian’s … do you remember now?
Rickie Roo: No.
Gigi: Don’t you remember jumping off the A Frame in a training session and landing on mommy’s leg? You knocked her over!
Rickie Roo: No.
Gigi: After you landed on her you looked all weird. You didn’t act right, and when everyone looked at you, your gums went all white … that’s bad.
Rickie Roo: Are you sure?
Gigi: Yes. I went with you to the emergency vet, and they said you were in shock. But after treatment you were almost all better the very next day.
Rickie Roo: I do remember not feeling so good. But I’m good now.
PJpupp: You recovered quickly Roo, and now you are all better!
Rickie Roo: I don’t have time to be sick.
Gigi: Yeah, me either.
PJpupp: That’s a good attitude to have. Did you tell the nice people about the awards you won?
Rickie Roo: What awards?
Gigi: Silly Roo, PupPerRoni means the fancy plaque and the trophy you got from Lomita Obedience Training Club. We all got a plaque, but you got a trophy for earning your Canine Good Citizen Award.
Rickie Roo: But I earned that last year.
PJpupp: That’s true, Roo. LOTC gives out year-end awards to recognize the accomplishments of its members, and you are a member. So, not only did each of us get a plaque in recognition of the titles we earned this year, but dogs that earn CGCs also get trophies, and dogs that earn championships like Gigi did get special recognition too! The nice people at i Love Dogs gave every single person at the awards dinner an i Love Dogs bag full of vitamins and toys!
Rickie Roo: WOW! How cool is that?
PJpupp: That’s just one fun thing about being a member of a dog club. Other fun things include parties for us doggies and our people, and informative talks that our parents can go to in order to learn more about dogs.
Rickie Roo: I didn’t know that. I mean I knew we go to fun parties with Lomita Obedience Training Club, West Los Angeles Obedience Training Club, and The South Bay Kennel Club but I didn’t know that mommy got to learn stuff too.
PJpupp: Yes, and since we are members of the American Kennel Club, United States Dog Agility Association, Canine Performance Events, North American Dog Agility Council, and many more groups, she learns even more about our favorite dog sports and about the different dogs and handlers who participate in their events.
Gigi: That’s a lot of dog clubs.
PJpupp: Yes it is Gigi. That’s why I didn’t growl too much when mommy was too tired to type our blog for us.
Rickie Roo: I have an idea! Why don’t we go jump on her right now and give her a BUNCH of kisses?
Gigi: THAT sounds fun.
PJpupp: Ok on the count of three … one … twooooooooo… three!
**** Due to technical difficulties this blog is over for today, the typist is buried in dogs.

Whoohoo! We love your blogs and hearing about all the fun stuff you do. We loves your momma too!
We got our ILOVEDOGS ambassador kit and now we get to share the news and samples of TJ health bites. MMM they are so good you forget they are good for you too!
