I’d like to tell all you dear pooches and people about a very special program called Operation Baghdad Pups. It sends brave people over to Iraq to rescue the companion pets of our troops. The lucky dogs – and cats, too – are flown to the U.S., where they are reunited with their beloved people pals, who then whisk them off to their furever homes. Talk about a happily ever after!

Last month, 33 pups were rescued by these wonderful people and are now snuggled safe in their dog mom or dad’s arms. My own dog mom wrote a story about it here.
