Cachorritos! Welcome back for another pawbulous day of adoptable dogs! I love finding other doggies good homes. Pues, that’s how I found my home when I was in the smelly cages. Mami and papi came to the rescue. Sabes que? There are actually special groups of people that rescue cute puppies like me and try to find us furever homes. Today, one of those super pack rescues, the Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation, gave me a special play date with Sophia, the Terrier mix!

This doggie is four-year-olds, but puppies wanna know a secret? She plays like a puppy! She is the absolutely coolest doggie ever. Pues, besides me of course – look at me, que cute soy! Anywho, Sophia is so nice and now really my new best friend. She runs around with me, wags her tail (that’s how I know she likes me), and tells me every so often “Irie, you’re so pretty!” Let me tell ya, I like this doggie. She knows the right pups to hang out with – me!

I told her she could talk to you humans and tell you why she’s the pawfect best girlfriend!

Sophia: Hi everyone! <sniffs you incessantly – shrieks with joy!> You’re humans! Ack! I absolutely love humans so so so much. Come here, hurry hurry. Come close. <she takes you down with a tornado of hugs and kisses>

Humans are so great. Humans rescued me, you know? Want to run? Let’s go run around the yard. Hurry, we can’t waste time ‘kay? I’m sure we only have a little bit of time to play — unless, wait, are you here to take me home with you furever? Oh my dog!!! Please please please. I’ll totally love you, and tell you which outfits look cute on you. Your hair? So pretty! Your shoes? So in style! Do you need a shoulder to cry on? Someone to listen to your sad stories? Oh, I’ll howl and whine and lick your face. I’m the very best at being a best girlfriend.

Or! We can run around the yard, let’s run! Hold on, let me grab my bucket. No, you don’t have to hold it. Nope, don’t put anything in it, silly. Just put it in your mouth like this and run. <she frolicks across the yard as the bucket clinks and clangs back and forth – wide smile on Sophia’s face> You see? It’s the best toy.

Having fun? I thought so! Listen, this doesn’t have to end here. You see those pretty people with the forms and the smiles. They take care of me, and if you go talk to them they’ll let you take me home with you furever. Please, please, please!

I’ll take you home, Sophia! Ay puppies, but I can’t. Mami lives in a small apartment with only enough room for one puppy, me. Humans, come on, don’t just sit there. Get up, go get Sophia, she’s the sweetest doggie I’ve met!
