‘alo cachorritos! Irie here reporting on Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month! Ya saben that TJ wants me to help our furiends find homes right? Well, here’s another one of my friends. His name is Leo, ay he’s kind of cute puppies! He makes me blush he’s such a smooth-barker! Also, he runs really fast. Oh my, we would make a perfect couple, racing throughout the world in love. Sssh, don’t tell him okay? Bark bark woof! You can’t see it, but my tail’s wagging, tee-hee.

Please find Leo a home, he’s such a sweetie pie. He wanted to talk to you himself; smart pup if you ask me!

 Well, hello there you handsome human. How are you feeling? Are you comfortable? Lay back, relax there human. Experience life like us dogs, happy and without a care in the world. Want to play? I will play with you friend. Wanna cuddle? No worries, you just relax and I’ll snuggle up. Hold on just one second buddy, just got to –

<sprints to the window, tongue hanging, grinning eyes as he spots a bird on a branch – he trots back>

Hello there human friend, I’ve returned. Why don’t you give me a pet now see? I’ll take a bow for you and you can give me a good pat on the head. I like to keep things cool ya know? Just me, you and this lovely couch. Let’s relax, enjoy the dog’s life. Take a load off brotha’, you’ve had a long hard day. Would you like your slippers? The paper? A lick on the cheeks? Oh, I see, you’re going to go for a walk across the kitchen – wait, hold on, wait for me!

<Leo leaps from the couch to follow you, he nips at your ankles playfully>

Oh ho ho ho woof! Oh that? Just playing with you pal, a good nip on the ankles does a human body some good. Helps to remind ya you’ve got a best bud like me to keep you on your toes. 

You know what folks used to say about me? They’d say “puppy was a rolling stone, wherever the food scent went was his home.” But not anymore buddy, bring me home and we’ll share a bowl of warm supper. You fix it up and I’ll add a special touch of sweet love from my little Terrier heart. Aw, come on now, you know you want to snuggle up and be best buds.

Hmm? What? Oh that ball, funny story. You see, there was this Golden Retriever and well I kind of swiped the ball– oh nevermind, no need to talk about that. Let’s keep talking ’bout our best friends forever friendship, hmm?
